CANopen

This is a communication protocol based on CAN, which is a standard established by the German non-profit organization CAN in Automation (CiA).

CAN

The official name is Controller Area Network, a communication standard developed by Robert Bosch in Germany. Now it has become an international standard as ISO11898. Designed for in-vehicle networks, it has excellent noise resistance and real-time performance.

Object dictionary

This is a data table that all CANopen nodes have and holds all data accessible via the network. By reading and writing this data, commands can be given to the node and sensor data can be read.

Finite Impulse Response Filter

It is a type of digital filter that is realized by the operation of a microcomputer.
In signal processing, a finite impulse response (FIR) filter is a filter whose impulse response (or response to any finite length input) is of finite duration, because it settles to zero in finite time.

CAN interface 2.0B active

CAN communication include data content and an identifier to identify the sending node.
The identifier has 11 bits in standard format and 29 bits in extended format.
CAN interface 2.0B active means that the extended format of identifier 29bit can be sent and received.
