Precautions During Use
Precautions During Use
- The detection surface section incorporates a magnet. When positioning the sensor close to a magnetic object, be sure not to apply shock to the sensor due to collision caused by the magnetic force.
- Do not bring the sensor close to magnetically recorded media (such as magnetic tapes or floppy disks), or it may corrupt the data held on them.
- Do not allow the product to be in close proximity to a person equipped with an electronic medical device. It may cause the device to malfunction.
- Mount the sensor so that the mark groove at the detection surface is vertical to the gear rotation direction or the rack motion direction.
- When mounting the sensor, if the material of the mounting part is made of magnetic metal, the detection sensitivity may significantly change. Before using the sensor, assure a sufficient distance between the sensor and the magnetic metal mounting part, and confirm the detection characteristics.
